Day 11 - Austin City Limits (not the show)
While I was driving from Dallas to Austin, all I could think about was when was this trip going to end. It’s not that I am not enjoying myself. On the contrary, I am enjoying it quite thoroughly, but I there are certain things that I have figured out by now, that I will share with you.
1.) It is not fun to drive somewhere and experience something by yourself, because sometimes I feel like I am telling stories to a wall….just a wall that everyone else can see.
2.) You (and by “you” I mean me) can never take the pictures you really want to. I realize that my pictures are mostly taken while driving, and this lacks some interest. To further prove my point, I was in Dallas this afternoon, trying to find an ATM to pay the toll for parking, and as I was walking into this building a vagrant yelled at me, trying to get me to wait for him to approach me. What I did was run into the building and hide. What I wanted to do was wait till he was close, take his picture, then run and hide. That would be interesting!
3.) I can’t think of a third right now, but it’s there.
Anyway, I am in Austin right now, and will be here for a few days. Enjoy the photos!
